patience

the immesouane way

immesouane reminds me a bit of the Pass in Byron Bay .. a constant thoroughfare of surfers heading out at the point (in this case by the harbour wall), catching a gloriously long ride or two and then walking back around.. At immesouane, depending on the tide and how good a wave you get, this can also involve a bit of a clamber along a rocky path in the cliff..

today I watched a woman drop a crisp packet in the street .. it was an act of such extreme laziness that she did not even take the effort to drop it with conviction .. she just stopped holding it .. and it fell to the floor brushing and bouncing against her legs as it went .. she did not break stride

my 450 broke on my first day in morocco so i dug out the holgaroid, which means lots of square polas and LOTS of vignette..

I saved my time zero for Immesouane

someone on my plane home told me that the acoustics of the sea are different in the bay at immesouane as the sound of the waves bounces back from the cliff walls. I will listen for that difference next time..

very possibly my favourite place both to surf and to take polaroids
